I went to the Salcedo Saturday Market in Makati City and found this interesting product called "The Bad Apple". It's basically healthy Granny Smith apples that have been dipped and coated with sweet stuff. So it is a combination of sour and sweet taste and gives the healthy apples a twist since it has a bit of sweet indulgence. They offer various flavors for the sweet dip or coating that they use such as caramel, chocolate with peanuts, chocolate with pretzels, salted caramel, apple pie, chocnut, ube macapuno, etc.
The price ranges from PHP120 each to PHP150 each depending on the flavor.
