EmQuartier Mall

My friend and I went to EmQuartier mall, one of the newest shopping malls in Bangkok which opened last  27th of March 2015.

An eye catching display featuring a huge dog and a group of
colourful sheep is found at the outer area of EmQuartier Mall.

The mall is quite impressive since it combines modern retail stores with greenery and a touch of nature as the mall features a 40-meter tall man made waterfall, which is currently the tallest man made waterfall in Southeast Asia, and a relaxing garden area.

The 40-meter tall man made waterfall adds a cool and
relaxing vibe to the mall.

Shoppers and visitors may opt to sit and relax at the garden area.

EmQuartier mall's open air garden area serves as a relaxing place for people to go to and is also a good spot to get a glimpse of Bangkok city view.

Nice Bangkok city view from EmQuartier

The center part of the mall where the restaurants are located features a spiral structure filled with live plants.

You will enjoy strolling at EmQuartier especially at the restaurant floor areas since you get to walk uphill in the spiral walkways as you checkout the various interesting restaurants at the Helix Quartier area. Walking there sort of reminded me of a modern mall in Tokyo called Omotesando Hills.

There are a lot of good restaurants to choose from at
EmQuartier mall.

Prada and Chanel are some of the high-end shops that can be found in the mall.

The Gourmet Market is a big food hall that features a good mix of specialty food shops and cafes.

You can find a Dean and Deluca store and a Jones the Grocer  store at EmQuartier's Gourmet Market.

The food hall has various coffee shops and offers various culinary choices.

EmQuartier is a cool stopover. It is a good place to go to in the evening for a nice and relaxing dinner. With the various shops that combine both high-end and more affordable retail brands, it provides more options for travellers.

If you are taking the BTS Sky train to go there, simply go to Phrom Phong station and you will surely see the huge and modern EmQuartier mall once you step out of the train.

If you are travelling with a friend or a group, it is also a good option to take an Uber ride to go there if your hotel is not too far away from EmQuartier mall and if traffic is not too heavy.

EmQuartier is a good place to find good food, do some shopping and relax. It is certainly one mall that I would definitely go back to next time I visit Bangkok.
