A friend of mine wanted to celebrate her birthday in an unforgettable and kiddie way so we went to Legoland Malaysia with another friend who is now based in Singapore.
One thing my friends and I have in common is that we are all kids at heart and we love going to themed parks and kiddie gimmick places.
The main highlight for us was the Starwars lego exhibit. We all love Star Wars since we grew up playing with Star Wars action figures when we were kids. Plus, we definitely have watched all the Star Wars movies when we were kids and still love the characters until now.

Cool scenes from Star Wars recreated with structures made from lego.
After going to the Star Wars area we headed to the outside area and did an around the world visit legoland style.
We were impressed by the level of details that they have on recreating the beautiful places around the world using lego pieces. Here are some of nicely made lego structures:
Taj Mahal |
Forbidden City and the great wall of China |
Angkor Wat |
Twin tower in KL |
KL City |
Airport |
There are also areas where kids can learn the Einstein way at Legoland.
Einstein's face made from lego looks really nice at Lego Academy's facade |
There are fun rides at Legoland too.
In case you need to go for a restroom break....you won't miss the restroom signs since it is quite cute and obvious.

Of course the visit is not complete without shopping at the Legoland store for souvenirs.
Lots of cute lego keychaiins |
Various lego toys |

Kids can build their own lego toys inside the store |
Legoland is a cool place for kids and adults. It brings back happy childhood memories for parents and certainly makes the kids happy and creative.
