I enjoy meeting up with good friends to have a nice meal, catch up and share funny stories.
Recently, my friends and I met up for dinner at Va Bene Pasta Deli at Bonifacio High Street Central in BGC(Bonifacio Global City). It is easy to find since it is located in the same floor as the cinema.

Va Bene Pasta Deli has been one of my go to places for really good pasta dishes since it started as a small Italian restaurant in Dasmarinas Village, Makati a couple of years ago. I heard about it through foodies.
It was established by Chef Massimo Veronesi, an ex-Peninsula Manila hotel chef. He used to create dishes at the Mi Piace restaurant of Peninsula Manila.
Ve Bene is a must-try since they offer freshly made pasta(and not the store bought pasta that most restaurants use) and really good Italian dishes that are good for sharing.

The yummy dishes we tried are as follows:
Arugula salad with Chicken Milanese |
Caprese Salad |
If you like buffalo mozzarella with your greens then the Caprese salad is definitely a good choice.
For main course, we tried the 12 hours braised veal cheeks. It is excellent since the meat is so tender and the chicken egg raviolo is simply delicious.

Boscaiola Pizza |
For pasta dishes, we got the tried and tested best sellers that I often order in their Dasmarinas Village branch before.
Black Ink Tagliolini pasta (seafood pasta with marinara sauce) |
Organic Eggs Tagliatalle(mushrooms with white wine cream sauce and truffle oil) |
It is best to get a reservation if you want to try Va Bene Pasta Deli since the place is not too big and a lot of people go there before or after watching a movie or when they are around BGC High Street.
