Alexander Wang for H & M

H & M just launched last November 6, 2014 a new line of clothing and fashion items from their collaboration with well-known fashion designer Alexander Wang.

The Wang collaboration with H & M features active wear that are mostly in black and gray which look cool and somewhat futuristic.

In New York, the launch of the collaboration was done via a runway debut. Here'a a video during the runway event:

In Manila, the items were almost sold out by the first day it launched. I was able to visit the H & M store located in SM Fashion Hall on the second day after it launched and I was surprised to see that only a few items of the Wang collection were left in the store.

The H & M staff that I talked to informed me that most of their items were sold on the day of the launch and the bags were even sold out. Wow! Looks like the Filipinos and tourists all liked the active wear that Wang did for H & M.

The H & M store in Manila located at SM Fashion Hall in SM Megamall is a big store and the location is prime as it is at the right side corner and cannot be missed once you enter the mall's fashion hall entrance that is fronting EDSA.

I really wanted to get a few pieces from the Alexander Wang collection but was not able to do so since there were a few items to choose from in the H & M shop in Manila. I will definitely check out H & M stores in Singapore and Hong Kong when I travel to these countries this month.
