Harajuku and Omotesando shops in Tokyo

Tokyo is definitely the place to go to for shopping since they have a lot of fashion brands and interesting shops.

During my recent visit, my friends and I walked around Harajuku and Omotesando.

Harajuku is the place where teens usually go to for funky street fashion. The various shops in the area also carry a lot of colourful stuff that appeals to teenagers. The colour of the shops are mostly bright pink and most of the shops cater to teenage girls.

Locals and tourists go to the shops at Harajuku

They also have a clothing shop for dogs.

Shops cater to teenagers as most of the items are colorful and funky.

People can also buy sweets and desserts while walking along Harajuku.

Kit Kat packs at one of the shops which
sells a green tea flavoured variant
It seems that the youth in Japan like crepes a lot since there are several crepe shops in Harajuku where they often go to for a sweet snack.

Angel Crepes which seems to be a popular choice since
there's a long line of people.
There is a candy shop in Harajuku also that sells a wide range of candies that kids and teens both like.

After going around Harajuku, we headed to Omotesando to check out the shops in the area.

Omotesando Hills is not your typical mall structure since  certain parts of
the mall's floors are structured in an uphill position which makes you
feel like your are walking on a treadmill that is set on an uphill mode

The lighting in the mall is quite nice and relaxing. The mall has shops like DVF,
Shu Uemura, D & G and it even has a Jean Paul Hevin chocolate shop on the ground floor.

The Louis Vuitton shop on Omotesando is also nice shop.

Going inside the shops at Tokyo is also a good experience since their sales staff are well trained and are very helpful and courteous.

They are patient to see you try on various items in the shop and would even give some recommendations.

Going to the various shops in Tokyo shows that the Japanese really know how to provide excellent customer service since they assist customers well and they will even help you look for the next shop or restaurant that you are going to visit in the area.
