Prada in Aoyama, Tokyo

I finally got to visit the impressive Prada building in Aoyama, Tokyo.

The six-story building located in the the Aoyama district in Tokyo certainly stands out since the neighborhood is composed mostly of low-rise  buildings.

The Prada Aoyama building is part of Prada's Epicenter buildings and was designed by Swiss architecture team of Herzog & De Meuron. It is a building that functions both as a house and a plaza as it houses both a two-story retail space and multiple levels of offices for Prada.

It looks like a transparent building from the outside since the building's walls are made from glass. It also captures one attention since unlike other regular buildings, the Prada Aoyama building is a 5-sided polyhedral building. The structure really looks stunning and modern at any angle.

The interiors of the store is also very nice as the products really standout since the entire store is basically white. Plus, the lighting of the store is apt with warm white lights and makes you feel that you are in a modern fashion house in Europe.

The Prada Aoyama building is definitely one of the cool fashion stores to visit in Tokyo. The customer service in said store is also excellent since we were given full assistance by the sales staff when we were looking at some shoes and they also have a valet service if you came to the store via car.
